LCD/LED monitors is a course designed to effectively prepare the computer hardware and maintenance student for entry into the computer maintenance and servicing job market .
A prerequisite for this course is that the student have completed the basic theory of electricity and electronics as well as having some basic computer skills .Upon completion of the course the student will get some basic knowledge of display technology and understand the different principles used in LCD/LED systems included in manufacturing and constructing the most recent flat panel displays .
Preparation for troubleshooting is accomplished by presenting a logical approach in identifying the fault of a major section , card , and then finally locating the faulty component .
Most of the experiments can be performed using Beda Precision model OET103 TFT LCD/LED Trainer along with Beda Precision LNR10 software .
The topic format of this manual is a theory lesson followed by a number of experiments presented to the student to build his own approach for rapidly repairing failed equipment as he gains practical experience.
